I believe strongly in the benefits that a financial plan can provide, as well as the problems that can occur due to inadequate planning or inappropriate advice.

When my sons were young, I setup college accounts for them based on research that she did herself. But none of the do-it-yourself books taught me about the follow through needed to keep my financial plan current - to make sure that the college accounts really had enough money to pay for the kid’s entire education.

I wished I had an advisor to tell me what to do. Keep me on track. Check on her periodically and make sure that I was accomplishing what I set out to do.

Being an immigrant who has been blessed to live in the US, I know that financial concerns can be overwhelming. I know the personal and financial challenges that we all face.
